Louise Kolbert
Director of Special Projects
Louise is a California native, her heart has always been to help others and relieve suffering whenever possible. It was her caring and compassion that led her to volunteer and eventually work with the American Red Cross in Emergency Services. This allowed her to meet the needs of members of the Armed Forces helping to arrange for military family members to come home when they were needed by their families because of death or illness. Louise often times would do condolence calls to families who lost a loved one in the military and helped with and participated with the memorials and funerals services. Most of her 34 year career was running disaster relief operations such as Hurricane Katrina, California Wildfires, September 11 terrorist attacks in New York and many others disaster operations throughout the country to ensure that the needs of those affected by disasters where taken care. Louise also spent considerable time in working with and leading mission teams to Latin America and most recently went with the team to Costa Rica.
Louise feels blessed that God has been able to use her to help others throughout the world and she is excited about continuing to provide that support here in the Santa Ynez Valley.
